Wv 1 year old Whitetail

These are 4 of 6 , 1year old deer that have been hanging around my property. Yes they were button bucks last winter. I have been over seeding my yard with chicory, clover, buckwheat and on the back side of my yard I planted a mixture called Rape. There is also a gas line right away and a powerline through our property, that I plant the same mixtures. I Don't hunt on my property. I made it a place for wildlife to come and to be safe. And to help buck become bigger. People that hunt this area, I call them people Not Hunters, because they shoot anything that looks like a deer.
I'm retired, have shot hundreds of whitetails, with Bow and Rifles. Now I enjoy watching and taken care of them.
I will hunt on our family farm in Pa. I have since I was able to. Hope some can appreciate this. Thanks David

We have set aside a portion that is a sanctuary which has been held that way for 30 years, that and good food, passing young bucks and managing doe's the same way we do bucks made a giant change in the hurd.
