WTT remington 700 in .243 win. Want to trade for a similar rifle that is left handed for my brother. Specs are the following:
All work done by my gunsmith in Macon, Ga. He doesn't like being advertised so you can pm for his info.
Stock: HS precision hunter series, green with black specs, glass bedded
Trigger: timney 510, breaks at 3lbs
Barrel: stock barrel, Remington varmint contour, 1:9.5 twist, 110 rds down tube
Bottom Metal: Remington Stock bottom metal
Weight: 14lbs with shown scope, rings, and bipod
All metal deracoated matte black
Not sure what it shoots as far as groups. My brother just recently got into long range shooting, and now wants to take it more seriously. I sold him this rifle to get into it, and now he wants a rifle that will fit him.
Looking for a Remington 700 or nice savage in left hand of similar quality. Calibers are any .308 family of cartridges, 6.5 creedmore, or maybe a .30-06 or .300 win mag but he doesn't want to get overboard since he's just starting.
Rifle is in perfect condition. Nothing wrong with it just needs a lefty. Can include he Caldwell bipod, Athlon Argos BTR (MOA, 30mm tube, FFP), and rail/rings for the right trade.
