Oh man you guys are missing a great rifle here, shoots straight and true....nostalgia all the way!.......
For sale, a Taylor & Co. 1885 single shot 45-70 heavy weight sporting barrel, 32" long. heres the real kicker...it has installed a WM Malcolm 3X, 17" scope with time period scope mounts, the bases were custom made at Troy Community College gunsmith school, they made them so as to not drill holes in the receiver..they made a base that fit into the rear sight dovetail....this is a real shooter...I have shot to 200 yds with it....$1100.00 + $25.00 to your FFL, must accept firearms from individual.. if not addition $25.00 will be charged...
Also have 45-60 Lee dies and brass for same..
I am entertaining trades of equal value...would like a shorter barrel 45-70..
