I have a very nice, M88 Winchester in .308 that I recently purchased on an impulse and now recognize that I already have several other rifles in my safe that fill this niche. This is a 1966 production rifle with the nice basket weave checkering. It includes the hard to find Weaver tip-off scope mount. The scope is a period correct, 4X, Japanese, no-name piece of glass. Comes with one magazine. My gunsmith examined the rifle and stated that it has been shot very little. As you can see from the pics, this is a much better than average piece of wood. There is one area of bluing that is thin near the muzzle (see pics). Asking $750, shipped.
