I just bought this set off gunbroker, it was advertised as the lightweight version buts it's not, it's the steel version. These have a matte finish, almost like they are parkerized. They show some minor wear, mostly from shipping I believe. I like the lightweights. I would trade for a pair of 30mm, 34mm Nightforce rings in the lightweight version, low or medium height. I would also sell, never in the field, used as a display set.
