I ordered this for a build but in between the LONG wait for the stock I got ancy and went another route. So I got this stock the other day and I no longer need it. Its a Brand new MCS-T stock inleted for the savage SA 4.4. It has two flush cups and one stud up front, it also has the 90% carbon shell. I paid 585 with the shipping, I will sell it for 535 TYD and you don't have to wait as long as I did. Thanks in advance.

I've got a question for you:

Is the 4.4" dimension the length between the action screws? If not where is this dimension measured? I have a savage model 12 in .223 (so its a short action obviously) and I was curious where this measurement was taken and what barrel contour the stock will accept? I can measure the OD of my barrel.

Thanks,

John

Your model 12 should fit right in. The barrel contour is for a factory heavy, and it is inleted for a blind box.

Yes, the 4.4" measurement is between the action screws. There are two common Savage short-action lengths, 4.27" (stagger feed, the mag box comes out of the stock with the action) and 4.4" (center feed, the mag box stays with the stock). There are two variations of the 4.4" with the bolt release on either the side of the action, or on the front of the trigger guard.
