SOLD/EXPIRED WTB 223 bolt gun for feed truck

Looking for something to beat around in the feed truck, nothing fancy, stainless is a plus but not a must. Please pm what you have. Compact would be a plus as well but not a must.

I'd recommend a ruger american ranch rifle, sounds like exactly what you're looking for. probably find one used around $300 bucks, maybe. good luck

I would second the Ruger American. I have seen 2 of them shoot very well with handloads (as I have not shot factory through them). They are also built with an 8" twist barrel to shoot some of the heavier longer bullets and with also the option of SS barrel.

I have a Savage Axis, I like it and it shoots well. It has a 1-9 twist barrel. If I did not own it I would definitely be looking for the Ruger.
