Take off from a heavy varmint M70 308, black in color. Two piece bottom metal, screws, magazine box, follower and spring included. Good condition, but it was on my varmint gun so it's not 100%. Pictures available via text or email, I can't get them to upload. 275 shipped conus.

Is this a short action stock or a long action? The older M70s used a long action with a short magazine box for shorter than 30-06 length cartridges.

Good question. It's a post 64 short action push feed. The action starts with g21, which I think should mean it was made since 1992 (that's is when Winchesters list stops with g21).

What is the measurements between the front screw hole and the back? I think it needs to be 7-5/8" for a long action. Is that a factory stock or an after market?

It's a factory stock. From what I understand Winchester made a "heavy varmint" branded gun. That's what's stamped in the barrel. It's definitely a short action, I'll get measurements posted either tonight or in the morning when I get back to the shop.

Sunday price drop and pictures

I finally figured out the picture situation.
Hole spacing is 3 & 1/8" to first home from most rearward hole, 7 & 1/8" to most forward screw hole.
$225 shipped conus.

Re: Sunday price drop and pictures

Don't think it will work and looks like it's a little short.
Thanks for the pictures and all your time. But I'm going to pass on it.
