It would have been similar to a Super Express if it was a New Haven rifle... decent pipe if you plan on using 300's.. I had one for a spell 20'ish years ago; I currently have a m700 lightweight (8#scoped) that shoots like a dream but recoils a lot more than this rifle will...

I believe this would be a Columbia, S.C. gun. I do not believe it would be Portugal but if so, should say on gun.....just like the Browning Gold shotguns. Morgan, Utah is the BACO Headquarters.
