This is a beautiful example of a Winchester Model 70 XTR Featherweight. It feels very light in the hand for a Model 70. Although it is a push-feed action, you'd be hard-pressed to find a nicer action of this style. As you can see, it has better than average walnut with some figure, nice checkering and deep rich XTR bluing. This rifle is in excellent to like-new condition, with only a few minor handling marks on the stock, clean bluing, good crown and has been shot very little. The Leupold VX-3i scope is very lightweight and matches this rifle perfectly. It has a few minor finish nicks in the objective bell, but the glass is scratch-free. Comes with new Leupold rings and bases. I paid a reputable gunsmith to do everything you might do if you were going to hunt with this rifle: install red grind-to-fit Pachmayr recoil pad, bed the action and bring the trigger to a smooth crisp 2.25 pound trigger pull.
