Picked up a Winchester model 70 featherweight with a Bausch & Lomb scope today, 25-06 (Excellent condition)(New Haven Connecticut). slinging and a case, three boxes of reloads, 2 boxes of Sierra bullets 25, Lyman turbo, a pound of imr4350, two rcbs 2 die sets (7mm & 25-06), rcbs beam scale (new), rcbs calipers (new)....

I think that's it. For...............

$470

Did I get hurt? Killer reloads for the 25-06?

Dude, you stole that!

What model B&L scope did you get? I used to have an Elite 3000 Firefly 3-9x50 30mm with a German #4 reticle. I would still have it, but a thief got hold of it, and I haven't seen it since. Those scopes are absolutely incredible in low-light. If it's something you don't want to keep, I might be interested in taking it off your hands...

I know I did I kind of wanted to rub it in:)

I think it's an older Bausch & Lomb it's just a straight 4 power but it looks pretty clear. Maybe I'll post a pic maybe somebody can help me figure out what it is, I think it may be vintage. Not a Winchester guy but I couldn't pass up the deal. I'll post a pic of the whole rig. If nothing else I'll use it for tradin material on my way to a new cooper:)

I've heard it's hit and miss on the 70 accuracy, but what mass brand isn't for that matter.

NO PICS, DIDN"T HAPPEN! show us the pics!:D

Sorry

I miss quoted the model, I know nothing of Winchester, it is a model 70 XTR featherweight

Got an egw 20 moa base on the way and a vortex viper 4-12 to top it off.

I WOULD NOT SHOOT THOSE RELOADS. You don't know who loaded them and really don't know what is in them. Pull them down, salvage the bullets and cases and pitch the rest. You will love the 25-06 as a deer size game rifle and looooooooooog range varmint shooter. For deer try the 117 Sierra or 115 Nosler ballistic tip.

I know the guy. They are dated and labeled for powder and bullets. Still...

I know what you mean.
