Will Remington 700 bases fit weatherby vangaurd?

    Will Remington 700 bases fit weatherby vangaurd? I want a picatinny/weaver rail, will it work, I read it will, I just wanted to ask the pros.

    Remember, just because the holes line up doesn't always mean it "fits".

    I know a M700 rail will line up and bolt down on a Wby MkV action but I wouldn't call it a good fit.

    Yes they will I have a nightforce 20MOA base for a rem 700 LA on my 300 win mag Vanguard the Vanguard and the MkV are not even close to the same

    Yes they will, in fact the other day I bought some bases for a 700 and they were marked for vanguard, howa ect.....

    ok i got the one for remington we will see if it works. Question #2 does anyone bed their bases?????????
