Which Projectile

With my 7mmSAUM still at the smiths and not looking like getting it anytime soon despite taking 4 times longer than quoted, it looks like I'm going to have to use my 243WSSM on an up coming hunt for Sambar (similar size to Elk if not bigger).

So the question is which pill should I use, obviously the range will be kept less than 100yds with good shot placement and I know its not ideal.

I was thinking of either a partition or X, any ideas comments?.
