Anyone know which primers Remington used in their 7 SAUM factory line of ammo years back?
Today I broke down some 140 Corelokt ammo and used my regular 160 grain load data to reload and left the factory primer and...WOW!
I had a 77 fps increase in velo and accuracy was better than my CCI 200 that was shooting good.
Just wandering if someone knew if they were 9 1/2 standard or magnum primers.

Thanks Ahead!

Yes. They are gold in color.
I am asking if anyone knows if Rem used the standard or magnum primers in the SAUM cartridges.
My usual load load increased speed and shot extremely well… better than with the Fed210m that I have been using.

With the short fat cartridge probably non magnum/standard rifle. If the powder all ignites too rapidly it can cause some nasty pressure problems.

Thanks Wildrose.
I use Fed210 and was surprised of the substantial velocity increase using the same powder charge with the factory Rem primer.
Of course I see none available to purchase in attempt to repeat my findings.
