whats a good gun manufacture.

Right now I'm looking at a browning x-bolt in 280rem and I would like to known if that's a good choice . If you have a better one I would like to known.

Great caliber.I have several a bolts, always been a fan of bolt throw and magazine. For me its hard to go to xbolt, less metal than original a bolts. It will be a nice rifle. I know guys who have been really happy with xbolt... and they are picky

Remington is an excellent rifle company. Their Model 700 is extremely accurate, reliable, and is very popular and affordable. Lots of information about them and can be bought in pretty much any sporting goods shop. They also offer many models for general hunting, long range hunting, varminting, target shooting, and pretty much anything else.
