What is your EDC hunting knife?

I bought five of them, one for myself and one for each of my four sons. My youngest son just bought anew one and had to go with an alternate steel but I wasn't aware they no longer made S90V. That is a shame because it holds an edge better than any of my knives and I have a considerable collection of high end knives.

Crucible Industries was located in Syracuse,NY not far from where I grew up. They closed up about 5 years ago.

My Dixie Zipper from L.S. Wild is my new favorite for field dressing. I use gutless method and debone.. I still carry a sturdy everything else knife. It's a Blind Horse Knives 01. They split up and became Battlehorse knives and L.T. Wright.

I really do like the Montana Knife Company products and I appreciate the quality but I do think they are overpriced. Do you have an opinion?

MKC makes a good blade by reputation, but I haven't bought one. There are so many good bladesmiths I don't think I would.

My production knives are pretty limited. I have a couple of old USA made Gerbers and an early Bark River.

I'm a microtech fan
