I'm planning on ordering a ag for my Remington 700. Im interested in the Visigoth the alpine hunter and the k2. Any experience with these stocks. Will be mainly shot prone but also some off hand hunting situations. Weight isn't a concern it will be a fiberglass model as well.

I went with the carbon K2. Slightly longer with little weight penalty and I like the thumb shelf.

I really like the carbon Alpine Hunter. The first two I picked up, didn't have the adjustable cheek rest, my third did. If I could do it again. I would have gotten my first two with an adjustable cheek rest also.
I was wondering the same. Outside of style and maybe price is there a big difference between AG and McMillan?

Lead time? My k2 is about 3 months. McMillan added 6-7 months to an already 6 month build

Can't go wrong with an Alpine Hunter, but I absolutely love my Carbon k2.

I'm on the fence about which ones for two builds. So many of their stocks are close to what I want but none check all the boxes.
