I just purchased a Weatherby Vanguard SUB MOA, no I haven't been a big Vanguard fan but am of the Ultra Light and Accumark. My gun dealer buddy talked me into this saying they are a really good gun for the reduced price. Anyone had any experience with the sub moa's yet?

Bigbearhunter,

I have not tested one of the sub MOA Vanguards but I have shot many Howa rifles that are basically the exact same thing with a few cosmetic differnces.

Every Howa I have shot has had at least one or two loads that it would cut sub 3/4 moa groups with and some of these rifles have been extremely accurate. I have a 223 Rem heavy barreled Howa that is an honest 1/2" rifle for five shots.

So while I have not tested the new Vanguards I would say they are probably pretty decent shooting factory rifles from what I have seen from the Howa rifles.
