This is a factory new stock. Bought it for my sons rifle and didn't ever use it. I think I placed the barreled action in and that is it. His barrel got shot out so we are moving to a carbon barrel and not using this. The barrel channel is for a factory contour. I think they call it a 4. Barrel channel at the end of the stock is just shy of an inch
