I am looking for some good spots to hunt deer and elk in units 454 and/or 460. This would be for the modern firearms season. I noticed some DNR land at the end of the Kent-Kangley Road. How is the hunting in this area?
I was also looking at the at the national forest and DNR land in unit 460.
For the DNR lands, do we need a special permit in these areas or anything? For some I have not seen any signs about who might have land rights or anything like that.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
