VX III vs 338 Lapua

Hi guys, wanting input please,

Do we think a VXIII 8.5-25 would handle the recoil of a 338 Lapua?
Rig would be something like Barnard action, Trueflite barrel,
McMillian A3-5,Barnard base, Ken Farrell rings.

Would the VXIII be the weakest link!

If it'll work on a 338 RUM it'll work on a 338 Lapua, and it does.

I have a VX-III on my 338 Lapua and have had no issues with the scope what ever.
