Vortex Summit SS??

Anybody handle one of these? This is exactly what im looking for, lightweight, compact. My concern is what will the stability be like. Ill have a Kowa 664 mounted on top.

I have one and like it, but the last leg section is fairly light weight (a good thing on a pack in hunt) and I find with my Razor HD 20-60X85 it is a little wobbly with the legs fully extended. If you are sitting or laying down and you keep the legs retracted it is great, but standing up I find it a little less than ideal for a heavier scope like the Razor. I also have the Summit XLT and at twice the weight I prefer it to the lighter version for regular use. I hope this helps you somewhat.

Thanks for the reply. I have one on order so we'll see when it gets here. I be using it with a kowa 664, so a little lighter than your razor.
