When developing a load and having a possible node identified which parameter to you experiment with first?

- dial in powder charge in smaller increments
- alternate OAL and distance to lands

I tend to take the charge above and below my identified node and add a few smaller increments. Haven't played too much with seating depth but when I have it's always been after settling on a charge. Wondering if there's any benefit to doing it another way.

Because my paper killer is also my hunting rifle I've always settled on my OAL (longest that still functions in magazine) and then play with the charge.

This has worked well for me and I have worked up loads that are consistently shooting .5 moa out to 550 yrds (longest range I have access to).
