I trimmed my biscuit last year and have been getting 1"groups at 70 yards, no damage to vanes what so ever

I hate to mess with my Tac15 because it's shooting so well, but what you're saying makes sense. Might give that a try at some point.

OTOH... My fletchings don't seem seem to wear out before they get shot through a deer and all messed up anyway. :D gun)

I am in amazement! ...All of us Tac owners, and someone is just now thinking of this.....So simple and obvious it hurts... great job and good thinking!

The picture is fuzzy for me. You cut out the bristles where the vanes would be?

How did you do it? Exacto knife?
