Tikka Tac vs Tikka Super Varmit

I am planning on getting a .308, however I am confused on the differences between the Tikka Tac and Tikka Super Varmit.

I have searched the internet and found some minor differences between the two. The main difference being the threaded barrel. Some people have also said that the barrels are different. Has anyone put their hands on each of these and can elaborate a little more? How about performance? Is it worth the extra money?

Get the cheaper one, difference in stock not worth it, they will shoot the same.

For some reason the super varmint isn't offered in the us in 308. Unless I'm missing something here
