Max OAL for this bullet in this rifle was at 2.925" (Hornady manual has them listed at 2.855"). They shot a one-hole 4-shot group today at 2.775" with a relatively mild load of Re-19. Anyone else seeing a lot of jump for this bullet in their Tikka 270 WSM?

With the ELD-X/M in general, I have seen them prefer a jump of anywhere from .005" out to .120", with the most common being around the .045" area, but for the most part it has more just been rifle dependant so far. Really not surprised they shot well at .150" jump, sounds like it's just a load the rifle likes, there may be a better seating depth that would get it even tighter but is likely not needed.

My Sako 270WSM also liked a lot of jump iwith the 145 ELDX. I went with Retumbo for my powder though. Like you I was shocked at how much jump this combo liked.
