Thinning the herd.

Every morning. The pooping machines move in. Can't hardly walk around the garage. They love the plowed gravel drive way this time of year. Everywhere else is covered in snow. When the spring hunt opens , only allowed one bird. When they see me , they just move a few feet away, then ignore me. Is it a fair chase hunt to take one of these birds ? Maybe I should go out behind the house & take one of the wilder ones ???

Wild turkeys are like that around Casper, WY also. Who needs a high dollar shotgun with a turkey choke when a broom handle will do just fine.

Try your State Wildlife/Game Department. In some states they have been known to capture and relocate them.

Deer/Elk, bear is a no go, but turkeys heck yeah.
