Tacoma, WA

[Steel Rain]

Will be in Tacoma, WA area for a couple of weeks for work. Anyone from that area that could give me some ideas on what to do with my down time? I thought about driving up to Seattle if I manage to get a day off. Not exactly sure what I'll have for free time but I want to take advantage of it if I can. Thanks. Have a good one!

We just got back from winning the international rov competition in Tacoma.We had a few days and we enjoyed;
A trip to Mt Rainier-great waterfalls and scenery(daughter is a photo nut)
Ballard lockes was cool with a big run of sockeyes running through the ladders.
Seattle-We did the space needle in the morning and evening after/during the rain.Emp museum was cool,the science museum was fair,the kids had a blast at the zoo,air museums were also enjoyed,so much do in that area and not enough time.
The city pass was $75 and was a good value if you do a few of the items on it.
