Do you lose the warranty on 2nd hand SWFA's?

I'm not sure but I do know SWFA has been great to me in the past. And I don't think it would be a problem.

Engineer, SWFA will take care if you. They have me on two occasions. There is very little that goes wrong with these scopes, the eyepiece is the only fail item and only if it is dropped.
