Swagger Bipod

I just bought one of these bipods. These parts don't look right. Does anyone else have one of these where the parts are different from mine? The screw doesn't fit through the hole on the one side or thread into the other hole. Not to mention it being off center.

Update: I dug out my small machine screws and found one that fit. Still wondering if the adapter is supposed to be offset like it is.

I have a swagger. What do you mean by offset? It has been a couple years since I messed with mine, but I don't recognize that screw in your photo. I would need to double check for an accurate assessment if you'd like.

I never noticed anything I would classify as offset. I had mine mounted on a single swivel stud on a Win Model 70.
