ok so here's some range results
detroit 450bm subsonic xtp mag
1041 fps avg
es 27.5
sd 9.05
group avg 11/2"
pretty happy for this as a subsonic load...generally lay two on top each other then a flyers 3/4 to an inch out...

not shure what to do next. im thinking of trying the xtp mag and or adding a crimp.... i have been leary of crimping because this case headspace on mouth ...any help out there...thanx

my die is a lee pace setter 4 die set ...fyi...i've never used the crimp

ok after a lil research i guess lee fcd seems like the way to go on a straight wall that headspaces on mouth

not shure but it seems like the ambient temp may be affecting the velocity from trailboss powder...anyone else experience this?

factory detroit ammo changed from 990 fps to 1041fps avg .
990 was 72 degrees f ....
1041fps was 89 degrees f ....
my hand loads changed from 1030 to 1061 fps going from 72 degrees to 89 degrees both gained velocity with ambient temperature increase....mabe...lol i didn't think trailboss was that touchy...

may try a 400gr bullet and different powder any suggestions? i heard vitavory or something like that may work better
