212 ELDX slammed the left shoulder broadside. Impressive performance on a giant beast. He was at 320 yards and spotted us so he stood up and wasn't going to stick around very long. Prone on a pack, and slightly winded due to uphill stalk—breathing and rifle cant came to bear. It was just a great experience. The next two days packing it a mile out over uneven terrain was a serious exercise.

Beautiful moose. Stories of moose hunts or really any hunt in the wilderness are just so interesting to me. People sometimes just have no idea how difficult and rewarding these hunts can be. Maybe one day I will get off my butt and experience a moose hunt adventure……
