Stove Jack question

Yes Big R is a farm and ranch store. Not sure where all you can find them. I looked and we paid 159.95 for it. It does hold a fire well and seems to put out a lot of heat. The pipe starts out as 5 inch and tapers up to 6 inch. We had it in a 12x20 alaknak tent. And be sure to use the stove pipe that is included with the stove. We packed the stove in 18 miles on horses to use in a 12x17 wall tent and to save space we used a different stove pipe. One that tapered from 5 to 4 inches. It did not work well. Live and learn.

It runs full time at our deer camp in northern Mn. the first two or 3 weeks of Nov. At night set on low it keeps the tent above freezing and during the day it will keep it around 60 to 70. In the evening with a couple of coleman lanterns going 65 or 70 is easy to do. It is a little small for consistent temps below 10 degrees or so. We burn 30 to 40 gal. of diesel in two weeks. This is camp.

Tent in front has the diesel in it. The little heat activated fan sitting on it make a huge difference.

There is no fuel smell unless you spill fuel in the tent and that goes away fairly quickly.
