At this price I'll stick with varget, it's been showing up all over
Brownell's wants $60/lb for Varget.

It's been below 50 elsewhere
Varget is good stuff. I've got a buddy who won't use anything else. He primarily loads 6.5CM, .308, and .30-06. Very versatile.

It's just hard on throats, that's why smiths like it. They get to replace barrels more frequently.

If you shoot a dasher with Varget, stick a borescope up in it at about 2k rounds, look at the leade and first 4-5" of rifling. Bet the throat moved .030-.040" and it looks like alligator hide for those 4 or 5 inches. It's a good powder, just burns way to hot for the lower energy it creates, compared to something like 8208xbr or H4895.

And H4895 is harder to find than any of them. I haven't even seen it in small quantities for a few years. Didn't even get to play can you check out fast enough like I was doing with H1000 there for awhile.
As for the Staball Match it's been available other places cheaper. I might even give some a go, the 6.5 StaBall did well enough in my wife's Creedmoor considering I didn't do load development. I just went a grain under max and let it roll to get in some shooting.
