Specific Long Range 30 caliber Data

I have been lurking around here trying to decipher which bullets seem to work and which ones do not seem to work for long range application. Most of the threads are intertwined with short, medium and also long range bullet information vice just long range information. Since this is a long range board more or less I would appreciate it if you could take the time to provide input......Maybe even someone interested in other calibers will start one of these threads for them as well.

So, now to the specifics:

A. What game have you personally harvested at greater or equal to 700 yards (verified with ranging instruments/devices) using a 30 caliber bullet?

B. Which bullet (along with weight) and rifling twist did you use.

C. What was the approximate muzzle velocity of your load.

I have shot 1 coyote at 775 yards with my 300 RUM. 200g SMK at 3200fps. My twist is a 1 in 10" Saw a yote across the canyon, my dad rangefinded at 775. I dialed my scope to 775 and let one go. I shot high, should have known because it was slightly downhill. The 2nd shot I put the cross hairs a little below the belly and that one hit its mark. Sent that yote twirling in circles for a few seconds before he died.

A. I have shot a whitetail at 918 with a .338 Lapua
B. 250 Sierra GK SBT.. dropped her on the spot, i like the game kings, but I have also shot a whitetail at 650 using a .308 shooting a 175gr HPBT

1: Dall ram 763 yards. 1 Sierra 168 grain 2661 FPS 11.25 twist. I WOULD NOT use this bullet at this velocity and range again.

2: Bull moose 650 yards. 200 ACCUBOND 3146 FPS 12 twist. Would definatly use this bullet again. Whats 50 yards??

3: Dall ram 600 yards. 190 SMK 2557 FPS. WOULD NOT use this bullet again at that velocity and range let alone 700 yards or more.

Meichele, looks like you´d vote for a 200 accubond out of a big .30 cal. as general use/ all range bullet ?
