Does anyone know who has a product for handheld GPS that gives you private land owners names on the GPS for South Dakota. I ordered one for sd and later found out that the private land owners name aren't on the sd chips from that company, but other states had the private land owners on other states.

Jackinsd look at the website huntinggpsmaps.com I ordered one that didn't have land owner name but from another post a guys says sd has own land owner names on it supposedly the one I bought but I taked to someone from the company a month ago and he told me they didn't have that but going to check into it on Monday

Okay, I see where your problem lies now. SD is one of the newer microchips available and there is only one version available right now and it doesn't have landowner names on it. I assume you paid $50 for yours. The state chips that have that available are $100. They are called a premium one and the ones that don't are called standard. If you go to a particular state the writeup tells you what version is available. I think you just probably didn't read things close enough to see that there is a difference in that all of them show land ownership, but only the more expensive version shows the actual names and not all states have that version. Sorry about the confusion, but it appears the SD chip does not yet have the higher priced premium version available.

Yeah I hope they make sd a premium map because it makes things so much easier. Thanks for the help

Well aware of the site you link to. But, as has been posted, it doesn't include land ownership for South Dakota. Hence the reason for my use of a county map with land ownership. If you know the area, it is real simple to know who owns what.
