This is used 300 Weatherby Mark V that has been customized by Gunsmith Dave Vanhorn in Gilbert, Arizona.

The gun was originally a 300 Weatherby Mark V Super Big Game Master.

Dave VanHorn built a new fluted barrel with muzzlebreak and installed it on the original Weatherby Mark V action (USA Made) and matched it with a Stocky's Thumbhole laminated stock which was pillar, glass bedded and free floated by Vanhorn at his gunshop.

The barrel length is 26 inches plus a 2 1/2 inch Muzzlebreak, making it 28 1/2 inches in length total.

The gun weighs 9lb, 3 oz with the included leupold bases and rings.

I have put a box of shells through it for sighting in and hunting purposes but never worked on grouping.

I'm selling because I no longer have a need for such a large caliber.

Dave is a well known gunsmith in Arizona and does quality work. He runs a small shop in Gilbert, AZ.
