Bought a custom turret for my 300 wtby, was zeroed at 200yds, sent in scope and remounted it when it came back and checked the zero and now it's 8" high at 50 yards, right on horizontal, can't get a call returned and I have no experience with turrets, do I just adjust the turret to shoot on at 200yds and then loosen the screw that holds the turret knob on and reset to 200yds, looking for advice please?

Who made the turrets?
Most are adjustable for what is shown, so you should be able to sight in normally, loosen and set turret to proper shown distance, and use as designed.

put the factory original dial back on, zero, put custom dial on, check zero at distance?
