I've been seeing a lot of these for sale lately by members here. Partially used boxes...

Why all the hate?

.506 I think is the G1, that's not terrible for that size .30 bullet.

Sierra bullets fly pretty good normally. I'm shooting their 6.5 130gr HPBT in a 6.5-06 which doesn't have too good of a BC, but shoot great.

I've just bought some that a guy was trying to unload, just seen some more for sale.

So if they are junk let me know so I can save powder in my 300wm and I will just use the for varmints in a 308.

I use them in a medium heavy barreled Savage with great accuracy. The range that I normally shoot on is 200 yards so I do not see a problem with the BC. For me they are a great bullet for punching paper.
