The last Shilen barrel I got, a #5 stainless .284, was the truest so far. The runout between bore center and O.D. was just less than .002" tir from breech to muzzle. The insides of all of them have been exceptional, (bore scope and group size), but rough on the outside. It looks like they have their contour lathe back under control.
Anybody else seen the same thing?
