sendero 25-06 going to hart

My 25-06 sendero will be shipping to hart in NY, for a rebarreling job. keeping factory contour, talked with their gunsmith, about throating this rifle for the 75,85gr bullets, this is my varmit rifle dont have the need to shoot heavy bullets. my question here is twist, he reccomended going with 1-12 to stablize these light fast bullets. some one give me some feedback on this setup. any one using 1-12 in their 25-06

Stripes, go with the 1-12 twist if your going to be shooting the 75 to 90grn bullets. I just had a 6x284 built, and I am using a 1-12 twist, because I wanted to shoot the 75grn and 90grn bullets too. I am using the 87grn V-max, and my 1-12 twist barrel loves this bullet. I am shooting in the high .1's and low .2's with this bullet. Good luck and let us know what you decide to go with.
