No, normally all that is required is the additional +P cut.

I guess I was just wondering if you offered that service for the guys who might want to +p but have a barrel that has some rounds on it and might want to try it, but the round count holds them back. So your saying working the throat will clean up some of the fire cracking?

If someone wants a barrel set back and +P throated we can certainly do that. The +P mod alone will not clean up a throat that is burning up.
