This rifle started its life as a 90's VLS M700. It was a sub MOA rifle right out of the box with a variety of bullets. I had some work done and it only got better ! I have decided to start another project so I need to free up some funds. Here is a rundown of the rifle s it sets now.
Rem 700 short action - bolt lugs trued by local gunsmith
Factory Remington Barrel (9-1/2 twist) - cut to 22" and recrowned by GA Precision
Badger Bolt Knob - Installed by GA Precision
Gen 1 X Mark Trigger - tuned to 3# by GA Precision
Standard Matte Black DL Bottom metal
Weaver Tactical 0 MOA Picatinny Base
Leupold Mark 4 30MM rings
Greybull Precision Stock - Custom Painted GAP Camo by Custom Gun Coatings (Woodland Tan, FDE, and Black)
*Barreled Action, Bolt, Base, and Rings Cerakoted FDE by GA Precision*
Rifle weighs right at 8# without scope.
After having the work done the rifle this rifle turned into a ragged hole tackdriver !
It shoots 95gr VLD's at 3150 fps amazing ! To be honest that is the load that I like to shoot so I did not play with many others but I did shoot some 70gr Noslers ot of it with the same results.
You will not find a better shooting or looking rifle or the money. This one will not disappoint.
I have right at $1600 invested from start to finish.
I will sell for $1250 to you FFL (from individual)
I also have 350 rounds of the 95VLD's that can be purchased by the buyer.
All you will need is a good scope and you will be ready to shoot out to 1000
