I don't disagree with your point. However, many of us are always looking for anything to improve and reduce variables that can introduce precision issues. I have found the bubble level does help me improve my form when practicing. Muscle memory is something we can benefit from when in the field.Controversial I know, but I think they're a gimmick. I'm sure someone smarter than I will be along to correct me and I'm always open to learning/suggestions. I 100% believe it may give you a slight edge on elr shots, but 100 - 200 yard shots out of you climber it doesn't make a lick of difference.
