Scope Mount Info

I have a stainless Howa 1500 in .223 heavy barrel. I just picked up a Super Sniper 16x42 for it also. Any suggestions on scope mounting? I have Leupold STD on it now but thought that I would go to a one-piece Weaver base and rings if I could keep the total cost down.

Any insight is appreciated.
