Rifle will be suppressed and will mainly be a Predator calling rig (close shots) and truck gun. Don't really have a budget as long as it's reliable. Obviously would want a low power at the bottom end and large field of view.

Are you shooting subs? I have a vortex strike eagle 1-8 power. The subtensions in the reticle are dead on out to 150 yards.

I pick up the rifle tomorrow. I have dies and brass in hand and 115's and 208's will be here Monday.

I have a rifle similar in setup to the scout. It's rocking a 1-8 burris and I love the combo except for now when sunrise and sunset are longer than daylight. Downside is it's stupid heavy, it kinda goofs the balance of the rifle but not quite as bad as some. If money wasn't a problem and you could deal with a 1 moa aiming point that nx8 for 17 oz is hard to beat.
