does anyone run any of the pm11 for hunting ? all of my hunting rigs i have swarovski's. nightforce for 338 edge for shooting was just wondering ?? their awful expensive

Why wouldn't you want to use one of the best scopes on the market on a LR/ELR rifle?

Cost is the main factor, or I would have one...or two or three!

those are my thoughts . just trying to fine the $$$ maybe i'll sell some of my safe queens!

I hunt with a S&B PM2 4-16 on my .300 WM and absolutely love it. It is a heavy scope, with Badger max-50 rings I think mine is just under 2.5 lbs. I believe a 3-12 is lighter. I cannot compare it to any NFs but compared to my Leupold VX3s it makes them seem like junk.

OK, I will come clean -- I have two S&B PMIIs .....both well worn and bought used. But I'm certain they are lifetime scopes!

I own a Nightforce NXS scope too. And the S&Bs are FAR superior. The nightforce is the only scope I've ever bought new :)
But I'm not selling the Nightforce either, because it is a very good scope.

Love um. I run 3-20 S&B's on a 300NM and a 300WM w/ H2CMR reticles. .2 mil wind holds are super easy in the field.

I think us Mil-radian guys are a minority here :)
I can't compute MOA anymore

Ain't it the truth! I never understood the whole, "I don't get mils" thing. Everything's in tenths, where's the problem? To each his own I guess. Back on topic!

Yes, they work just fine for hunting. Good enough glass but excellent (durable) mechanics. Have three now.
