To the OP, sorry you got scammed. Good luck recovering your money. Former friends of mine in MI thought nothing of showing up at the scammers door and raising hail.

As an example of not being able to find someone:
Three years ago my wife was the victim of a low life who crashed into her and totalled her car. She didn't need medical attention. The low life driver didn't have a license, didn't have insurance and didn't own the vehicle. Supposedly he had borrowed the vehicle from someone out of state. The driver got taken to jail and I don't know what happened to him longer term. Our insurance took care of us except we had to pay the $1000 deductible. The insurance company people tried to find and make contact with the actual owner of the vehicle and were not able to do so. Some people are good at staying ahead of trouble.

All my vehicles have insurance for collision, comprehensive with high liability limits.
Last time I looked at the cost breakdown for my policy, "uninsured motorists" was 2/3 of the premium cost. According to carinaurance dot com, Oregon has almost 13%.
Back in the 90's, that number was over 20%

It remains beyond my comprehension how people continue falling for these guys with all the threads available to review. Plus, I've tried to beat this to death, but why are folks so reluctant to do a video call with the seller holding the item? Seems to be the highest odds in that method. OK, off my soapbox now.

They can't even deliver mail! Have a package in Jacksonville FL. 2 hours away from me been at postal facility since Jan. 4 awaiting "acceptance" every day they reset the "expected delivery date? What the heck?

I just looked at my own trader history and noticed that there is nothing. I have only had a half dozen transactions on here and no reviews. I hope that I remembered to post reviews when I made purchases or sold items.

We've had the same issue with the Peyton, CO post office. In our case, they are overwhelmed with Amazon packages and 'ground' shipments set unprocessed for several days. It doesn't do any good to call or go in person, they just don't have the people or technology to process the volume of mail they have these days. I did finally get my Midway USA order 10 days after it arrived at our local Post Office. Not to worry, Brandon has everything under control.
