First indicator: the rare powder, primers or bullets you're looking for are IN STOCK.

Second indicator: in stock items are pre pandemic prices.

Third indicator: accepting zelle, cash-app, etc.

Fourth Indicator: new website

If you run into any of these indicators, do your research on the company before buying. Ask this forum, ask Google, ask for references. Nobody is too smart to get scammed.

I was scammed by a fellow enthusiast on another hunting website. He had a fair number of posts. Talked to his FFL and he made communication to them about shipping. Agreed to pay half and then second half on arrival to my FFL. Had been communicating on a regular basis. Made 1/2 payment and never heard from him again. I will only do transactions face to face. Learned my lesson. Be skeptical of everyone and every website.
