Savage Recoil Lug Question

Recently put a 7-08 barrel on my savage striker and the Holland radial baffle brake is aligning upside down. Does anyone know knows how much thicker lug I need to rotate barrel 180 degrees.

It is a 1/20 thread. Or 20 threads per inch.

I'm afraid you won't get that done by changing the thickness of the recoil lug.
Your headspace is set and a thicker lug will not affect the alignment of your radial brake.
You may need to use a self timing brake to time baffles correctly.

You can also get a pack of varying thickness timing washers to set behind the brake until it times correctly.

Brownells or Ebay will have shims for the muzzle brake. thicker lug won't solve problem as noted above. full rotation of a savage barrel is .050 just for your info
